The Compassion Experiment: It's not a blog, it's a Blitter. Too short for a blog, too long for a Twitter. A real issue with compassionate eating, comes in the form of 'myths', half-truths passed down the line, to people just looking for an excuse not to change. The one I'm thinking of right now, is the one regarding soy milk and it's connection to the rise of estrogen levels in frequent users. Has this one been proven? There are proofs for both sides of the story, so who do you believe here? It would be nice to be able to point to soy milk as the reason for my luscious man-boobs, but alas, that has more to do with a pizza and dessert addiction. Here's what I've found in my research. Too much soy isn't good for anyone, young or old. It's not bad, at all, you just shouldn't over do it. Making things harder, of course, is the fact that most non-meat products, and meat substitutes are made of soy. There are quality products made out of rice, and
