2011 has started with a bang. The good kind.

I was wrong about Simon . I thought Simon would be a solitary cat, who would be friendly, but would spend a lot of time on his own. Man was I wrong. He is a type-A lap cat. He's also way bigger than we thought, he's like a mini panther. The siamese version, of course. As sent to the OB: A Postive Cat By-Law Response: As a full-time staff member, and volunteer with the Oakville Milton Humane Society, it has been impossible to ignore all the attention that the new cat by-law has been receiving, whether positive, or ignorant. Every day, truly amazing people come through the doors of the OMHS, and donate money, blankets, litter, food, and their time, but it can never be enough. Sometimes it feels almost hopeless, but when it comes to caring for the animals of this town, money is the last thing on our mind. The OMHS is all about giving the animals the best care, and love that we can, and whatever happens financially, is something we just have to deal with. Hence why we are so badly
